OnePlus 6 Users gets the option to hide the display notch

Talking about the upcoming OnePlus 6 new smartphone, many fans are not happy with the controversial display notch. Despite the company's co-founder Carl Pei giving clear explanations on the reason for notch, fans are outraged and aren't convinced with it. Thankfully, OnePlus 6 will have a feature where Users can “hide” the notch with software.

The users feedback has been addressed by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau and now the company promises to permit an option to decide whether to opt for the extra screen around the notch or to hide the UI down to avoid it and leaving the black bar.

The device will not have the feature at the launch time, but the update will be incorporated later. The company is also confident on turning off the screen area around the notch if the users are worried on OnePlus 6 sticking to OLED technology. OnePlus 6 may arrive early 2018 in next few months.
