T-Mobile's LG V30 Android Oreo update to be rolled in 2 weeks

After smartphones like Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, and Galaxy S8 Active getting updated to Android Oreo, T-Mobile's LG V30 is likely to be updated to Android Oreo this week.

T-Mo product guy Des Smith says said that the OEM made a booboo and they're spinning a new build. He further said that the T-Mobile receives the new build and it will further push it out to the users sporting the LG V30.

Android 8.0 has been rolled out to Verizon's variant of the LG V30 previous month and so is AT&T branded LG V30. It is learnt that the Android Oreo will have features such as picture-in-picture which lets viewers to watch videos and still multitask with  app running in the background. The Oreo update also shows the unread notifications on the home screen icons of apps with notification dots.

Updating to Android Oreo on LG V30 will allow you to find lighter, leaner Settings menu and in addition, it will permit you to snooze notifications by swiping one to the left or right. So, make sure to get updated to Android 8.0 when a notification appears on your T-Mobile LG V30.
