2018 iPhone Pre-orders to go live from September 14

Apple is set to begin the pre-orders for 2018 iPhone from September 14, which hints that the initial models of the next generation iPhone family could debut some time before Sep 14.

The interesting aspect is that one of these 2018 iPhone models will have an upgraded wireless charging coil to offer faster wireless charging at as high as 15W, which is surprisingly faster than the 7.5W wireless charging support on the iPhone X and iPhone 8 models. Rumored reports had earlier suggested that the new iPhone devices will arrive with faster wired charging support as well and include an 18W USB-C power adapter.

Looks like the Cupertino giant is on time by locking the date 14th of September, considering the date September 12 2017, where the iPhone X as well as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were unveiled. Apple may also launch the iPhone X successor as well as the iPhone X Plus and the affordable LCD iPhone model during September.

The pre-orders of 2018 iPhone lineup begins from September 14, but the company is expected to begin the sales of these models from 21st September. Meanwhile the public release of iOS 12 will make it on 18th of same month.

Apple is set to hole the launch event this year at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple's new Apple Park campus, and the company might meanwhile send media invites for the 2018 iPhone launch event in late August.
