LG launches the mid-range Q7 smartphone in India

Korean electronics giant LG has officially launched Q7 the successor to the company’s Q6, in India. The midrange smartphone is priced at Rs 15,990 and is available in markets from September.

LG Q7 features 5.5-inch FullVision Display and comes with 18:9 screen aspect ratio with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. The device's body is protected by IP68 dust and water resistant technology. LG Q7 packs a 3000mAh battery backed by Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 and supports 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage while memory is expandable up to 512GB via microSD support, provided through a dedicated card slot.

LG Q7 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750S processor. As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone includes a 13MP rear camera, with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, and also has an 8MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture while it supports LED flash, and comes with panorama and HDR modes, as well as 1080p video recording at 30fps.

In terms of connectivity, the LG Q7 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2LE, GPS/A-GPS GLONASS, FM radio support, a microUSB 2.0 port, a type-C USB 1.0 reversible connector, and USB On-The-Go. Besides the fingerprint scanner, and the device comes in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colour variants.
