Oppo R17 Pro launched with triple cameras, VOOC Flash Charge

Oppo has finally launched newest R series smartphones including R17 and R17 Pro at an event held in China. Both Oppo R17 and Oppo R17 Pro comes with water drop notch, an in-display fingerprint sensor and the Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

Among the major highlights, Oppo R17 Pro boasts of triple rear camera setup identical to Huawei P20 Pro as well as include Super VOOC Flash charging support, 8GB of RAM, Snapdragon 710 processor, and a small display notch.

Speaking of specifications, Oppo R17 Pro is a dual-SIM (Nano) variant that is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a 6.4-inch (1080x2340 pixels) full-HD+ display with a 91.5 percent aspect ratio and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The handset has a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP main sensor, 20MP secondary sensor, and a third 3D TOF depth sensor. The primary 12MP sensor has an f/1.5-f/2.4 variable aperture. The third TOF 3D sensor allows the handset users capture 3D photos or connect it to a game console by connecting to a TV. For selfie lovers, Oppo R 17 pro features a 25MP front-facing camera with 3D Portrait lighting and AI-based beautification feature.

Oppo R17 Pro connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC support, while it  packs a large 3700mAh capacity battery with SuperVOOC charging technology. The dimensions of the device are 157.6x74.6x7.9mm and weighs 183 grams.

While Oppo R17 is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 35,600) in China, for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, Oppo R17 Pro is priced at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 43,800).
