Pre-orders open for Samsung Galaxy Note 9; Price details

The Pre-orders for the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 9 are open till August 21 and the smartphone is expected to go on sale in India on August 22.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come in dual-SIM variant and the price in India has been confirmed by the company which starts at Rs. 67,900. With Samsung struggling with the low sales of the two Galaxy S9 series models unveiled earlier this year, they seem to have not much hiked the new Galaxy Note 9 price. The price is for 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage variant, and for the model with 8GB RAM and 512GB inbuilt storage, it is priced Rs. 84,900.

Looking at Samsung Galaxy Note 9 key features, the device is equipped with 6.4-inch QHD+ AMOLED Infinity Display panel, making it the biggest display in Note series, and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The Indian version Galaxy Note 9 variant acks the Exynos 9810 SoC, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The device has storage options of 128GB and 512GB of onboard and can be expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB)..

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 boasts of horizontally-placed dual rear camera setup including 12-megapixel dual pixel sensor along with a wide-angle lens that has a variable f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture and a 12-megapixel sensor along with a telephoto, f/2.4 autofocus lens. The dual OIS support 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom.

The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE (LTE Cat. 18), dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, ANT+, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung has given a 4000mAh battery on the Galaxy Note 9 which is notably 21 percent bigger in capacity than what was available on the Galaxy Note 8.
