Sony Xperia XZ3 spotted on Geekbench with Android Pie

Sony's event at IFA 2018 will witness the arrival of devices Xperia XA3 or Xperia XZ3, according to reports. This Midranger Sony Xperia XZ3 spotted on Geekbench initially disclosing the Snapdragon 660 chipset and now the flagship made its way to the benchmark.

In the listing, it is alleged that the Sony Xperia XZ3 is based on Android Pie, aka Android 9 and  will have a variant with 4 GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to arrive with a tall screen and no notch, while the latest leaks reveal a single camera on the back.

If the flagship Xperia XZ3 launches with Android Pie, it'll indeed be the major flagship to come with the new OS out the box, beating Google's own Pixel 3 range to the punch. For now Android Pie is available on Google's Pixel phones along with the Essential PH-1, although this was pushed as an update.

There are reports that Xperia XZ3 will be showing up in Berlin, and the renders have shown devices handset from all angles in a range of colours including white, black, green, and purple.
