Diablo 3 Nintendo Switch Release Date Confirmed

Blizzard has confirmed the release date of Nintendo Switch version of Diablo III: Eternal Collection on November 2, 2018, which also happens to be the first day of BlizzCon 2018. The news has been confirmed via microblogging page Twitter that the dungeon crawler arrives to Nintendo's hybrid console in North America and Europe.

Announced via Twitter, Diablo III: Eternal Collection is now available for pre-purchase on the eShop now and it will cost $59.99 USD, plus you can receive up to 300 Gold Points. Diablo III consists of the original game, Reaper of Souls expansion, Rise of the Necromancer pack, and all content updates.

Simultaneously, the Nintendo Switch version involves the player co-op and comes with the with exclusive Nintendo-themed items such as the 'Legend of Ganondorf' cosmetic armor set, a Tri-Force portrait frame, a Chicken pet, and 'Echoes of the Mask' cosmetic wings. This Switch version of Diablo III was developed in-house at Blizzard and it can multiple controller configurations such as the Switch Pro Controller and a single Joy-Con, and utilizes the upcoming paid Nintendo Switch Online service for online multiplayer and cloud saves.
