Galaxy A9 Pro, Samsung's first Snapdragon 710 smartphone

Samsung has shifted its focus on its midrange smartphones in order to give a stiff competition to the Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo. The Korean smartphone giant is introducing new features through its Galaxy A smartphones, and it will announce the Galaxy A9 Pro, on Thursday, October 11.

Samsung Galaxy A9 pro is likely to begin new era for Samsung’s mid-range smartphones thanks to its amazing features like quadruple-camera setup on the rear as well as Snapdragon 710 processor. This is the first Samsung smartphone to come with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 710, on performance wise.

The launch date is posted with a GIF image that states “4X fun.” However, there are no official leaked renders yet, and it is rumored that the company is a planning a design that will resemble that of the Galaxy A9 Star. So users can expect a rectangular vertical camera setup the top-left corner of the rear. Samsung also is likely to skin the in-display fingerprint scanner which will be fitted in with a square-shaped sensor on the rear as well.

It is evident that Samsung is offering a cheaper alternative to Huawei’s upcoming Mate 20 with the latest Galaxy A9 Pro.
