Huawei Mate 20 duo to initiate SuperCharge 2.0, expandable storage

Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are identical design wise, though it's still an underlying mystery when it comes to the internals and features. While the company has claimed that the battery capacities of the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro were 4,000mAh and 4,200mAh respectively, the latest reports reveal that they are supported by Huawei’s next-generation SuperCharge 2.0 technology.

The SuperCharge 2.0 technology implies that it will take fast charging to the next level by permitting a 70% charge in just 30 minutes.

In terms of camera, both Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will swap out Huawei’s usual telephoto lens for a new wide-angle one. The smartphones will also pack 24-megapixel camera within their respective notches. While the Mate 20 Pro will feature 3D facial recognition, the Mate 20 comes with a 2D variant. The other unlock feature arrives with Voice ID technology that should be capable of distinguishing your voice even in crowded areas.

Huawei Mate 20 will arrive with 4GB RAM variant while Mate 20 pro comes with 6GB variant, though the duo will include 128GB of expandable storage and not via microSD card, but a new nanoSD format. Huawei Mate 20 also boasts of IP67 water and dust resistance. Huawei Mate 20 duo will be launched this October end.
