Asus Zenfone Max phones in India launched

Asus has sent media invite for an event scheduled for a new smartphone launch on October 17 in Delhi, India. According to reports, Asus is preparing for two smartphones- Zenfone Max phones and not one. Looks like Asus has set its eyes to take on the mid-level smartphone Xiaomi’s Redmi 6 series and Oppo.

The two news Asus smartphones will be priced under 12,000 in their Max series lineup. Named Asus Zenfone Max Lite (M1) and a regular Zenfone Max, the company will be announcing them on 17th of the month. Both smartphones will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series chipset, and will be much more affordable than the Max Pro (M1).

Zenfone Max (M1) features include a dual-SIM based 5.5-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display covered with a 2.5D curved glass, with a dual camera setup with 13MP on the rear with an f/2.0 aperture along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera that captures 120-degree field-of-view, and an 8MP on the front with 85-degree field-of-view. The devices will come comes with a dedicated microSD card for expanding the storage by up to 256GB.

Asus will have value for money smartphones in its arsenal with the new devices launches including the Max (M1) and Max Lite (L1). Let's wait for a couple of more days to see what Asus has in store for us.
