Huawei Mate 20 series in 4 Models; Price leaks ahead of launch

Huawei is all set to launch the new flagship series, the Mate 20 models today in London at an event, and just hours before the launch, we get to witness another set of leaks and more details. The specification and prices of these Mate 20 series devices are leaked on Weibo. And furthermore, the Huawei Mate 20 series will be unveiled in 4 models.

The company's main focus is on the high-end Mate 20 Pro, which is so far Huawei's most significant and noticeable smartphone. The 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels smartphone is powered by Kirin 980 octa-core CPU based on TSMC’s 7nm process, while it arrives with a triple rear-camera setup and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Huawei Mate 20 is a cheaper version of Mate 20 Pro, though just with minor differences in features and resolution-size. Besides the Mate 20 series models, Huawei is set to unveil a new gaming-centric Mate 20X, that boasts of liquid-cooling technology, and a massive 7.21-inch FHD+ OLED display. The smartphone will be launched in storage variants 4 GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM, and up to 512GB of built-in storage.

Huawei is likely to launch Huawei Mate 20 Pro Porsche Edition that is equipped with Kirin 980 liquid-cooled CPU, with 512GB of internal memory and 8GB of RAM. There is also an an in-display fingerprint sensor and a huge AMOLED display.

Coming to pricing, the base model in the series will start at  $800 (approximately Rs 59,000) and go all the way up to $2,000 (approximately Rs 147,580).
