Oppo A7 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC launched

Oppo enjoys a good market with its smartphones in India, and it has now set its eyes in expanding the mobile portfolio even more. Oppo A7 which is unveiled in China on November 13 is priced at  1,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 16,700). Oppo A7 ₹ 16,990 with a waterdrop notch design has been launched in India.

In terms of specifications, Oppo A7 sports 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a waterdrop-style notch. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage for another variant.

Oppo A7 comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear with 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (with ColorOS UI overlay) out-of-the-box and receives power from 4,230mAh battery.

Oppo 7 alleged specifications are similar to those of the Realme 2, apart from the differences like the waterdrop-style notch and a higher-resolution front-facing camera. Oppo’s (former) sub-brand Realme launched in India earlier this year.
