Realme confirms its first Helio P70-powered phone

Realme has announced that it will be the first company to be unveiling a smartphone with a Helio P70 chipset, and here's the confirmation the company claimed now. Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme has officially confirmed that the brand would unveil the products with the MediaTek SoC on the global scene.

Helio P70 is built on TSMC's 12nm FinFET process, and the processor has four Cortex-A73 cores at 2.1 GHz and four Cortex-A53 units at 2 GHz, which is slightly faster than the Helio P60, and meant to power "full-featured smartphones at affordable price points." The SoC also supports 20:9 displays at Full HD+ resolution.

The reports claim that the new Realme devices will have between 10% and 30% of faster AI processing efficiency also packing the voice assistants, face unlock etc. They enhance the camera performance including  Face Optimization, Portrait Mode, Scene Recognition.

The Helio P70 SoC boasts of the multi-core APU clocked at up to 525MHz for better edge-AI, and packs the 4G LTE modem with up to 300Mbps peak download rates, and also supports dual 4G VoLTE.
