Samsung W2019 Flip Phone is here

Samsung will be launching a new flip phone device in China on 9th November, and the South Korean giant will launch successor to the W2018 phone, the SM-W2019.

The 4.2-inch AMOLED display panel W2018 device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and with 64GB/ 256GB storage options along with microSD card support. The recent report on the speculations of W2019 could come with a Snapdragon 845 SoC. The device is codenamed "Lykan". It is fueled by 2,300mAh battery.

Coming to optics, Samsung W2019 packs a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an f/1.5 aperture along with a 5-megapixel sensor at the front. But folks speculate that the Samsung W2019 may have a dual rear camera setup along with artificial intelligence (AI) backed features including a Scene Optimiser. There might also be Android 8.1 Oreo at the initial stage while it will receive the Android 9 Pie in the future.

Samsung however is yet to detail the price and availability of the Samsung W2019. We are likely to get more information at the time of the official launch in November.
