Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro teased, to launch at Company's first store

Xiaomi could unveil its Mi 8 Pro for the UK market at the launch event in London on November 8 i.e. today. The smartphone will go on sale with the Company's first-ever retail store in the London, and Xiaomi has begun teasing the event and one of the images shows its new flagship device with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Snapdragon 660 chipset.

The other image launched by the Xiaomi Mi 8 as part of its teaser shows an infinity symbol, hinting at number 8, which means the launch of Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro in the UK market. Xiaomi is trying to expand to European markets, and only Huawei has significant presence in the European market.

Xiaomi is celebrating its eight birthday - and the Mi 8 series is created to make an impact, including the devices Mi 8, Mi8 SE, Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite. Xiaomi Lite model will certainly join Mi 8 Pro for its UK market debut.

On the specifications front, Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro sports a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED screen backed by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 Octa-core paired with Adreno 630 GPU and comes in storage variants of 6GB/8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and packs a dual camera setup.

Coming to optics, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro comes with 12-megapixel f/1.8 lens paired with a 12-megapixel f/2.4 lens with optical zoom on the rear of the device and the front selfie camera with 20-megapixel f/2.0. Mi 8 Pro packs a 3000mAh battery and the Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot with USB Type-C connectivity.
