Honor V20 with display hole and 48-megapixel rear camera introduced

Huawei-owned sub brand has launched its latest flagship device Honor V20 at the launche event that was held a while ago on Monday in Hong Kong. Honor V20 is the successor to the previous year's Honor V10, and it's the first ever Honor's smartphone to be equipped with a selfie camera display hole and a 48-megapixel rear camera sensor.

Honor has beaten the launch of the Galaxy A8s, and has become the world's first smartphone to sport the Sony IMX586 sensor - the first 48-megapixel sensor. Under the hood, there is the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC while it sports a premium design with 5-axis ring dispensing technology, 0.1mm precision assembly, and a customised camera lens.

In addition, Honor has now introduced the Link Turbo which is a technology that lets simultaneous Wi-Fi + 4G use, so the connection is not choking over poor public networks.

Honor V20 price and availability is not announced for now, and the company is likely to make the announcement at the launch event in Beijing, China on December 26. The Global launch of the device is however scheduled for January 22 in Paris, France.
