Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 to be faster than Apple A12 Bionic, Kirin 980

Qualcomm will announce the Snapdragon 8150 (aka Snapdragon 855) mobile processor soon, and meanwhile we hear much information on the early leaks. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 AnTuTu score has been leaked online, where the chipset shows around the score of 362,292 points hinting that it will be the fastest mobile chipset to power Android smartphones.

So far the top rated Android smartphone is Huawei Mate 20 Pro on AnTuTu, which is equipped with the Kirin 980 processor, which has an average score of 309,682. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 has even smashed the iPhone XS comes closer with a score of 352,405,, though by a smaller margin.

Snapdragon 8150’s GPU score is 156,328 which is almost 20% higher than the current the Snapdragon 845’s GPU score. Early leaks on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 hints some unusual core configuration, one with one high-performance core, three medium cores, and four-energy efficient ones.

However, these are mere speculations regarding the Snapdragon 8150 chipset, and we are yet to get the confirmation from the Qualcomm. We hear that Qualcomm might soon announce the new silicon sometime later this year, most probably at the company’s annual Snapdragon Technology Summit. By all means Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8150 is going to be a powerful processor.
