Sony Xperia XZ4, first smartphone with Snapdragon 855 SoC

Just after three months of the launch of Xperia XZ3 series smartphone, the leaks on the next version Sony Xperia XZ4 are already emerging, and according to the leaked video and the renders, we come acorss some of the specifications of the smartphone. Read on.

Sony Xperia XZ4 is expected to be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 855 SoC, and it marks the first smartphone in the world to launch with the flagship SoC if it gets unveiled at the CES 2019. Furthermore, the leak suggests that the Sony Xperia XZ4 is likely to sport triple rear camera setup, a near bezel-less display sans 3.5mm audio jack port.

 Sony Xperia XZ4 leaked specifications were spotted on Weibo account from the Tipster IceUniverse, who states that the Xperia XZ4 sports a 6.55-inch full-HD+ resolution display made by LG that comes with21:9 aspect ratio, while on the storage front, the device comes with 6GB RAM, and 256GB inbuilt storage capacity. As said, the smartphone comes with triple camera setup with OIS support, and a super wide-angle camera in the front. It will be backed by a 3,900mAh battery.

If Sony Xperia XZ4 gets launched at the CES 2019, it will beat its competitors by a long mile in being first smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC, but if the Xperia XZ4 gets unveiled at MWC 2019, it certainly faces the competition. Snapdragon 855 SoC arrives with 5G modem and improved AI performance.
